ESCP Business School - London : Pursuing postgraduate studies in Marketing
→ My transformation as a marketing professional was significantly shaped during my
bachelor’s degree under the mentorship of Anand Sir, who taught me copywriting. His
strength as an educator lies not only in his mastery of the craft, but in his ability to
recognise potential and challenge students to refine it. Through thoughtfully designed,
rigorous, and engaging exercises, he encouraged original thinking and a deeper
understanding of creative strategy.
→ His mentorship extended beyond the classroom when it truly mattered. During a period
when I was unwell and had taken leave, he made the effort to teach me personally, an
experience that reshaped my understanding of what genuine commitment to education
looks like. That moment, among many others, reinforced the importance of responsibility,
empathy, and accountability in the teaching profession.
→ His consistent encouragement helped me recognise my strengths, trust my creative
instincts, and approach learning with greater confidence and ownership. Under his
guidance, I didn’t just learn copywriting techniques, I learned how to think critically,
embrace constructive criticism, articulate ideas clearly, and push my creative boundaries
with intent.
→ Equally important, observing his teaching philosophy influenced the way I approach
knowledge-sharing today. His emphasis on effort, clarity, and belief in students has
directly shaped my own interest in teaching and mentoring. Even beyond college, his
continued recognition and support reflect an educator who thinks in terms of long-term
impact rather than short-term outcomes.
→ He is a teacher who genuinely believes that students can shine and actively creates the
conditions for them to do so. My academic growth and evolving perspective as a
marketing professional and aspiring educator have been meaningfully informed by his
mentorship.
